But what is the paste actually made of? Miso paste is made from fermented soybean paste. This second fermentation process is what gives miso its unique flavor, texture, and nutritional composition.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An important fact to note is that not all miso pastes are classified in the same way.
